  • Hi Karen, If you click on my profile and check out my groups you will see I'm an organizer for OCS and as
    the ATL main organizer I do tons of trails in that area. You should join and check out the events you will really enjoy it. I have an event coming up this Sunday too. Are you available to hike on Fridays or Sundays?

  • Thats cool! North Georgia College has great live jazz in their auditoriums - usually they're free and the faculty members are the band. I found a BBQ place just down the road from the planetarium building as well. Glad you got out to Clarkesville too. It's just been in the recent years that I've found out about the great entertainment here in the area that I previously thought I could only go to Atlanta for.

  • Hi Karen,
    Thanks for the reply - astronomy is outdoors so we'll see what happens. I've done two hikes, Sawnee Mountain and Amicalola Falls so it'll be great to try this with a group. Maybe we can do some things outside of the box as well like music - we'll see.
