Enjoying outdoor adventures with family & good friends is my idea of the perfect way to spend time.I enjoy modest kayak adventures and peaceful camping trips with hiking, biking for the meek. At 59, I'm trying to squeeze in every bit of life possible
calm kayaking, camping, slow paced hiking, easy bike rides, excursions into nature with knowledgeable leaders, exploring GA
that's a difficult question, as I have favorite places for different reasons... 1st would be kayaking on a beautiful lake or lazy river... Or drinking good coffee overlooking rolling mountains. I love life and beautiful nature in lots of places
Okefeenokee Swamp canoeing... those gators are REALLY BIG! What was I thinking!
N GA mountains and lakes...
ga conservancy and riverkeepers friends talked about what a good group of people participate
"I love the GA Conservancy. The member trips around GA are some of the best! Educational adventures! I also belong to the GA Canoe Assoc., Flintriverkeepers, etc..."
great way to meet friends and have some wonderful outdoor adventures... there is something for everyone!

I would love to join you in the paddle events - but alas, I have never paddled or rowed a boat or kayaked successfully in my life! I think I paddled a canoe with someone else one time and couldn't get the hang of it, which meant we pretty much went in circles! I do love the water, however, and get close to, or in it, when I can!
Hi Marie, it was great meeting you and I look forward to doing more meetups with this group! I had a blast and can't wait for the next adventure!
Hello from the "Appalachian Wilderness Guides" Meetup Group ! We haven't heard from you in a while ! We remain unique in that we are the ONLY Meetup group whose (EASY TO MODERATE RATED) hikes are led by volunteer, professional guides. Also - most hikes are followed by an optional social event that highlights recreational, cultural and / or historical aspects of the area that you've just hiked ! We hope you can join us soon! Thanks for the welcome, Marie. I hope to paddle with you soon. Got my Tsunami 145 for the Altamaha trip. It's kind of a tight squeeze for my behind, but I can get in and out with a can opener, and several strong friends, no problem. Should be a fabulous trip.
Thank you Marie. Enjoy the holidays
Thanks, Marie. I look forward to meeting you as well. This group sounds awesome.
Yes! Please post as many trips that you can that follow the criteria. Your the best!
Oh yes. I've been wanting to canoe or kayak down there for a long, long time. :-)
You are the best! I'll send you my personal email and phone later. Maybe we can get out on the water together.
Marie, that sounds heavenly, but I am on a contract with a Jan. 31 drop dead date. Cannot make plans for that weekend. I will keep an eye out for another opportunity.
